My Equipment

On this page I show you which equipment I use to create my animations.
The links lead to the corresponding providers (Affility Links).
Of course there is a lot more and I will certainly invest a lot more in equipment. My goal is to become faster (shorten rendering times) and to be able to work more comfortably.

In my current Workstation

AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX 32-Cores

My GPU in my Workstation:
NVIDIA RTX 8000

In my biggest Render Machine

4 x in my first and biggest Rendermachines at the moment.

MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDRR6X 384-Bit

MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDRR6X 384-Bit HDMI/DP Nvlink Tri-Frozr 2 Ampere Architecture OC Graphics Card (RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio 24G)

In my second Render Machine

2 x in  my second Rendermachine.

NVIDIA Titan RTX

In my third Render Machine

2 x in my third Rendermachine.

NVIDIA Titan XP

Monitor

LG 34GL750-B 34 Inch

I work on the workstation with 3 monitors. I’m sure many of you will say that it’s too much, but I’d prefer to have one more. Don’t forget how many windows a 3D program can have. To work comfortably you want to be able to see everything well. I explain briefly why I need so many. On the left side RedShift RenderView is running, so I can see the finished result directly. In the middle is the workspace where I work 90% of the time. On the right is an additional window with multiple views so I can move all the objects back and forth perfectly. I also often access the content browser, the shader graph, but also the timeline. Here I already have to put one window over the other again and again. Theoretically a reason to get one more monitor.

Keyboard

Kensington Slim Type Wired Keyboard (K72357USA), Black

I use 2 x the german version.
one for the workstation and one for the second Computer (render machine).

SpaceMouse

For me, the SpaceMouse is not only perfect for my 3D program but also for Substance Painter. Also other programs offer the possibility to move an object perfectly in space with the SpaceMouse. I love this part, probably also because it looks so futuristic on the desk 🙂

Mouse

Mouse for my Workstation

Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless Mouse

My equipment for future streaming

I’ve been using Elgato Stream Deck for a lot of things lately. I have created several pages where many shortcuts run. I can use them for After Effect but also here for WordPress. That’s pretty cool. Each program gets its own page with the corresponding shortcuts on Stream Deck.

If I want to make Plush Tetris into plush toys, can I get your authorization? -A plush designer from China

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you if there are already patents or other rights on this kind of toy. You have to have that checked first. However, the name “Tetris” is protected worldwide. If you want to sell something with the name, you should definitely inform yourself, otherwise it could be quite expensive.
Sorry for my bad English, I’m from Germany 😉
